The candidate should come from a retail background with the ability to manage stock, scheduling, and ad-hoc tasks. Immediate joiner preferred to support ongoing operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategies to raise our customers pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability.
• Responsible for day-to-day performance and operations on the store floor.
• Take a floor walk to ensure that display is arranged in appropriate way.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Handle store administration and supervise compliance with policies, procedures and SOP.
• Check store compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and security staff for the same.
• Identify and analyze the sales and set the daily/monthly target accordingly.
• Set staff's schedules and breaks in shift.
• Responsible to do ad-hoc work as and when needed.
• Handle and maintain petty cash register and coordinate with accounts team regarding the same.
• Check the stock received in the store according to the raised invoice.
• Monitor inventory level and order new items accordingly.
• Follow up with the superior regarding same.
• Update stock data in WinBDS system.
• Identify non selling books and arrange display for the same.
• Manage stock to maximize sales potential.
