Job summary

Qualifications

• BE – Chemical or MSc Environment /B.Sc (Chemistry) + PDIETM
• 3-7 years in Environment, Health and Safety department
• Knowledge ISO 14001, OHSAS-18001 and related standards

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Environment in fulfilment of legal requirements and voluntary standards
• Ensure efficient output from ETP/STP/RO operations
• Operate and maintain ETP/STP/RO equipment

The Environment Team is responsible in the areas of environmental management including effluent treatment, monthly compliance reports, odour management reports, preparing applications for CC&A, NOC, report preparations, regional liaising etc.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Environment in fulfilment of legal requirements and voluntary standards in the plant

Operational Responsibilities

• Ensure efficiency output performance from the operations of Effluent treatment Plant
• Operation and maintenance of ETP/STP/RO
• Ensuring proper operation of ETP/ STP/RO/Clarifiers/ Parallel Plate Separators
• Working in close coordination with other team members towards best results from ETP /STP/RO operation
• Supervise the jobs related all equipment and monitor their performance for optimum and safe operations
• Communication with superiors and carry out field actions accordingly
• Maintaining proper housekeeping in the area of ETP/STP/RO
• Trouble shooting and increasing the performance of Waste treatment equipment
• Implementation of management systems related to EHS in the function

• Guide the plant personnel to trouble shoot the odor problems faced due to fugitive emissions or otherwise

Education Qualification

Work Experience

3-7 years in Environment, Health and Safety department
