Job summary

Freedom Employability Academy (FEA) invites applications for a full-time Teacher Spoken English at our Maharajganj branch. You will deliver structured spoken English classes to youth learners, follow the curriculum, and create an inclusive, learner-centered classroom.

You will monitor progress, provide feedback, maintain attendance, and collaborate with fellow teachers to improve teaching practices and learner outcomes. On-site role with daily lesson planning and digital tools integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Humanities, or related field preferred.

Role Description

The Teacher Spoken English at FEA will deliver structured spoken English classes to youth learners at the Maharajganj branch, following the organization’s curriculum and teaching methodology. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves planning and conducting daily lessons, facilitating interactive activities, and supporting learners in building confidence and fluency in English. The teacher will monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain an inclusive, learner-centered classroom environment. Additional responsibilities include maintaining attendance and learning records, participating in training or review meetings, and collaborating with other teachers and coordinators to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Training skills, with experience facilitating spoken English or language classes for youth or adult learners.
• Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning and Education skills, including the ability to design and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learner needs.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to explain concepts in simple, engaging ways.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Humanities, or a related field is preferred; certification in TESOL/TEFL or language teaching is an advantage.
• Ability to manage a classroom, work with learners from varied socio-economic backgrounds, and create a respectful, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory learning environment.
• Comfort with basic digital tools and willingness to integrate technology and MOOC-based learning into classroom sessions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a commitment to youth development and long-term learner success, especially in low-income or underserved communities.
