Job summary

CSF is seeking passionate English teachers to train students in grades 6–12 in reading, writing and spoken English, with a focus on fluency, pronunciation and reducing MTI.

Design structured lessons and assessments, provide personalized feedback, and create a safe, encouraging environment for rural, first‑generation learners; willingness to commute from Amritsar and teach in English and Punjabi.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in English or related field (MA English preferred).
• B.Ed. (preferred).
• 8–10+ years of teaching experience (Classes 6–12).
• IELTS / TESOL / TEFL certifications are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging sessions in English grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing.
• Conduct interactive activities like group discussions, role plays and presentations.
• Improve students’ pronunciation, fluency and confidence in speaking English.
• Design structured lesson plans, worksheets and assessments to track progress.
• Provide personalized feedback and support to overcome language barriers.
• Create a safe, encouraging environment for students to practice English.

Role Summary:

We are looking for passionate and skilled English communication teachers to train students from grades 6–12 in reading, writing, and spoken English. The role focuses on building fluency, confidence, pronunciation, and reducing Mother Tongue Influence (MTI), especially among first-generation English learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging sessions in:
• English grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing
• Spoken English and communication skills
• Conduct interactive activities such as group discussions, role plays, presentations, and conversations
• Improve students’ pronunciation, fluency, and confidence in speaking English
• Design structured lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments to track progress
• Provide personalised feedback and support to help students overcome language barriers
• Create a safe and encouraging environment for students to practice English

Skills Required

• Must be comfortable teaching in both English and Native Punjabi
