Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Workday Time Tracking Consultant with 4–8 years of overall experience to implement, configure, and support Time Tracking solutions. The role requires deep knowledge of Workday HCM, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Payroll touchpoints, with a focus on data validation and testing.

You will work with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to design processes, develop configurations, run UAT, and deliver production-ready solutions, including integrations

Qualifications

• 4–8 years IT/HRIS experience with hands-on Workday Time Tracking.
• Strong knowledge of Workday HCM, Absence Management and Payroll.
• Experience with Workday integrations and EIBs.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Workday Time Tracking Consultant with 4–8 years of overall experience and strong expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday Time Tracking solutions. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of Workday HCM processes, time tracking configurations, and integration touchpoints with Payroll and Absence Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain Workday Time Tracking business processes, time entry codes, time calculations, work schedules, and time-related security.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into Workday Time Tracking solutions.
• Design, test, and deploy Workday Time Tracking configurations and enhancements.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders to streamline workforce time management processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Time Tracking and related modules.
• Support end-to-end implementation, upgrades, and post-production activities.
• Perform data validation, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Create functional design documents, test scripts, and user training materials.
• Work closely with integration teams to support inbound and outbound interfaces impacting Time Tracking.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and labor regulations.

Required Skills:

• 4–8 years of IT/HRIS experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on Workday Time Tracking experience.
• Strong experience in Workday Time Tracking configuration and support.
• Good understanding of Workday HCM, Absence Management, and Payroll processes.
• Experience with Workday business processes, security, reports, and calculated fields.
• Knowledge of Workday integrations and EIBs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Agile project environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Workday certification in Time Tracking and/or HCM.
• Experience in global workforce management projects.
• Exposure to Workday Payroll and Absence modules.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
