Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Pune seeks an experienced DC Architect to lead design, deployment and optimization of data center solutions across storage, compute and cloud domains. The role requires collaboration with global delivery teams and travel to client locations as needed.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in DC architecture, DR/BCP implementations, and strong communication skills to interact with enterprise architecture groups.

Qualifications

• Must have combination of 2 or more of the listed skill sets.
• Experience in design, development and deployment of DC Solutions including DR/BCP.
• Experience in DC Architecture in recent engagements.
• Ability to travel to customer sites for discussions and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Work with DC Architecture team on technology planning, design and decision making for new infra projects.
• Coordinate with onsite and offshore infra teams to capture requirements and suggest market-trend solutions.
• Understand NexGen Solution in datacenter areas including compute, storage, backup, DB, DevOps, container, hybrid cloud.
• Understand system architecture and work on data migration and decommissioning.

What we are looking for

Must Have

1. Experience, with combination of 2 or more of the below skill sets

2. Hands-on experience in design, develop and deployment of DC Solutions (with combination of any of the two-technology listed below storage, Vmware, Hyper V, Nutanix ,Linux, OpenShift hCI, Unix, backup, DevOps, container, Hybrid cloud)

3. Must have held critical roles in DC Architecture in recent engagements

4. Must have designed and deployed state-of-art DC solutions using latest technologies for large enterprises including DR, BCP, etc.

5. Should be able to work in global delivery model which means traveling to different customer sites as and when needed for discussions, assessment, and presentations.

6. Must be aware of latest technology solutions

7. Excellent communication and written skills to interact with Enterprise Architecture group in customer organization

8. Good Presentation Skills

9. Experience on Various Infra Tools

Responsibilities

1 Candidate should work with DC Architecture team and assist on the technology planning, Designing, decision making and Review for new Infra related projects and enhancements as required

2 Co-ordinate with existing Infra team at onsite and offshore support team, to understand the requirement and take their inputs as and when necessary. Suggest customer the current market trend solutions.

3 Understanding, knowledge and working of NexGen Solution in Datacenter area (Compute, Storage, Backup, DB, DevOps, Container, Hybrid cloud)

4 Understand system architecture and work on data migration and system decommissioning, Etc
