Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Bengaluru invites a senior DC Architect to design, develop and deploy data center solutions across global client environments. You will contribute to architecture decisions, DR/BCP planning, and liaise with Enterprise Architecture teams.

Role requires hands-on design experience, travel to client sites as needed, and strong communication skills to articulate complex infra concepts.

Qualifications

• IS experience with two or more of the listed skill sets.
• Experience in design, development and deployment of DC solutions.
• Led roles in DC architecture in recent engagements.
• Deployed DC solutions with DR/BCP for large enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Assist DC Architecture team in technology planning, design and reviews for infra projects.
• Coordinate with onsite and offshore infra teams, capture inputs and propose market-trend solutions.

What we are looking for

Must Have

• IS experience, with combination of 2 or more of the below skill sets
• Hands-on experience in design, develop and deployment of DC Solutions (with combination of any of the two-technology listed below - storage, Vmware, Hyper V, Nutanix ,Linux, OpenShift hCI, Unix, backup, DevOps, container, Hybrid cloud)
• Must have held critical roles in DC Architecture in recent engagements
• Must have designed and deployed state-of-art DC solutions using latest technologies for large enterprises including DR, BCP, etc.
• Should be able to work in global delivery model which means traveling to different customer sites as and when needed for discussions, assessment, and presentations.
• Must be aware of latest technology solutions
• Excellent communication and written skills to interact with Enterprise Architecture group in customer organization

Responsibilities:

Candidate should work with DC Architecture team and assist on the technology planning, Designing, decision making and Review for new Infra related projects and enhancements as required

• Co-ordinate with existing Infra team at onsite and offshore support team, to understand the requirement and take their inputs as and when necessary. Suggest customer the current market trend solutions.
