Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai, India, seeks a Network Voice Administrator with 5–12 years of experience to support a large Cisco UC & Collaboration environment, ensuring high availability and rapid incident recovery.

You will configure CUCM, Unity Connection, IM&P and Expressway, manage SIP trunks and call routing, perform MACD actions, analyze logs, and collaborate with Network, Security and vendor teams. Some on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• 5–12 years of experience in Network Voice/UC administration.
• Experience with Cisco CUCM, Unity, IM&P, Expressway, and Webex.
• Experience managing SIP trunks, dial plans and call routing.
• Strong problem-solving and incident-management skills.

Skill- Network Voice Admin(Cisco UCM)

Responsibility

• Provide operational support for a large-scale Cisco Unified Communications (UC) and Collaboration environment via ticketing tool (Service Now)
• Monitor and support Cisco Collaboration infrastructure to ensure high availability and service continuity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to voice, video and collaboration technologies within defined SLAs.
• Support Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection (CUC), IM & Presence (IM&P), Cisco Emergency Responder, Cisco Expressway, CUBE/VG and Cisco Webex.
• Support Microsoft Teams Voice and hybrid collaboration solutions integrated with Cisco UC.
• Manage and troubleshoot SIP trunks, dial plans, route patterns, route lists, translation patterns, media resources and call routing.
• Perform user provisioning, endpoint configuration, phone registration and MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) activities.
• Troubleshoot call failures, one-way audio, registration issues, codec mismatches, media path issues, and SIP signaling problems.
• Analyze logs, traces, RTMT data and diagnostic information to identify root causes and restore services.
• Participate in incident management, problem management and change implementation activities.
• Perform health checks and proactively identify potential issues within the UC infrastructure.
• Work closely with Network, Security, other vendors and customer teams during incident resolution and planned changes.
• Participate in knowledge transfer (KT) and service transition activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, operational runbooks and knowledge articles.
• Participate in on-call support and maintenance activities as required.
