Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Windchill Data Migration Consultant with 5 to 15 years of hands-on experience to migrate CAD and engineering data into PTC Windchill PLM environments. The role requires expertise in Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) and Windchill migration utilities, with strong skills in data loading and quality checks.

Qualifications

• 5+ to 15 years of Windchill data migration experience.
• Experience in migrating CAD, Part, Document, and BOM data to PTC Windchill PLM.
• Hands-on with Windchill Bulk Migrator and migration utilities.
• Proficiency in data mapping, transformation and loading activities.
• Experience with Pentaho ETL or similar tools.
• Experience creating and validating load files.
• Knowledge of custom and OOTB Windchill loaders.
• Understanding migration strategies, data quality checks and validation processes.
• Ability to apply business rules during data migration.
• Ability to analyze source data from legacy PLM/PDM systems and transform it for Windchill.
