Job summary

Nexhire Technologies is seeking a Windchill Technical Leader to drive data migration for Windchill+ implementations in Bangalore. The role requires 8–10 years in PLM data migration, with strong CAD/WTPart and metadata migration experience.

You will lead end-to-end data migration, design mapping rules, validate loads, and coordinate with IT/ERP teams to ensure a smooth transition. Immediate joiner preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in PLM data migration with Windchill experience.
• Proven CAD, Document, WTPart, and metadata migrations.
• Strong SQL/Oracle query skills for extraction and validation.
• Scripting for automation (Python, Shell, PowerShell).
• Experience migrating from legacy PDM/PLM platforms and CAD vaults.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead end-to-end data migration strategy for Windchill+ implementations.
• As-is to-be data process mapping (CAD, Documents, WTParts/EBOMs, Change Management, Classification).
• Define migration scope, sequencing, cutover plan and validation procedures.
• Execute bulk data migration using tools/APIs and develop load files, mappings, and utilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and document migration runbooks and validation reports.

Windchill Technical Leader - Data Migration

Location: Bangalore | Experience: 8-10 Years | Up to 32 LPA

Notice Period: Immediate Joiner

Technical Skills:

• Engineering degree with 7+ years in PLM data migration, at least 3+ years in Windchill/Windchill+
• Direct experience with Windchill + Bulk Data Migration Tool or Windchill loaders (WBM, loaders, Info*Engine-based utilities)
• Proven track record executing CAD, Document, WTPart, and metadata migrations
• Expertise in Windchill and Bulk Data Migration tools, mapping/transformation logic (attributes, soft types, classification), CAD data structures (Creo required; SolidWorks/NX a plus), and WTParts/EBOM management/CAD-WTPart associations
• Strong SQL/Oracle query skills for extraction and validation
• Scripting familiarity (Python, Shell, PowerShell) for automation
• Understanding of Windchill+ data model, lifecycles, workflows, and security rules
• Experience migrating from legacy PDM/PLM platforms, CAD vaults, ERP engineering data

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead end-to-end data migration strategy for Windchill+ implementations
• As-is to-be data process mapping (CAD, Documents, WTParts/EBOMs, Change Management, Classification)
• Identify data gaps, cleansing requirements, quality rules, transformation logic
• Define migration scope, sequencing, cutover plan
• Execute Bulk Data Migration Tool/loaders/APIs for large-scale migrations
• Develop data load files, scripts, mappings, transformation utilities
• Manage pre-load validation, load execution, post-load verification, error resolution
• Analyze legacy schemas (PLM/PDM/CAD/ERP), build mapping templates
• Standardize naming conventions, versioning, WTPart structures
• Define/execute test migration cycles, UAT, reconciliation scripts
• RCA for load failures
• Collaborate with functional consultants, PLM architects, CAD teams, IT/ERP teams, business stakeholders
