Key Responsibilities

Production Support

1. Monitor and support critical production applications and databases.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, performance issues, and data discrepancies.
3. Provide timely resolution to user queries and reported issues.
4. Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 support as needed.

PL/SQL Development & Maintenance:

1. Analyze, develop, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code (stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, Index, Cursor, collection, View) for performance and efficiency.
2. Debug and resolve issues in existing PL/SQL code & complex queries.
3. Perform data fixes and data manipulation using SQL and PL/SQL.
4. Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms within PL/SQL code & performance tuning & code optimization

Linux System Operations:

1. Navigate and manage files and directories using basic Linux commands (e.g., cd, ls, cp, mv, rm, grep, find).
2. Monitor system resources and processes
3. Execute and troubleshoot shell scripts for automation and task execution.
4. Review and analyze system logs for errors and anomalies.

Collaboration & Documentation:

1. Collaborate with development teams, DBAs, and other support teams to resolve complex issues.
2. Document solutions, procedures, and knowledge base articles for future reference.
3. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for production support processes.

Required Skills:
