Skill: PLSQL, Unix Shell Scripting and Data warehouse

Experience Range :7 to 10

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages for data processing and transformation.
• Develop and optimize Unix Shell Scripts for automation, scheduling, and data file handling.
• Work on Data Warehouse architecture, ETL processes, and data integration from multiple sources.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance tuning of SQL queries and ETL jobs.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production jobs, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and deployment activities.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL (procedures, functions, packages, performance tuning).
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact & Dimension tables).
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, DataStage, or similar) is a plus.
• Familiarity with job scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys).
• Knowledge of SQL performance optimization and debugging.
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to Cloud Data Platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, GCP BigQuery).
• Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Basic understanding of Python or other scripting languages.
