Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA in Chennai is seeking a skilled technician to monitor and optimize vehicle trim, chassis, and final assembly processes. You will ensure fitment of dashboards, seats, trims, and related components, and work to improve cycle times and ergonomics.

You will troubleshoot fitment issues, verify torque and alignment, coordinate with Quality and Maintenance teams, and support functional checks to resolve assembly defects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve vehicle interior and exterior trim assembly processes.
• Ensure proper fitment of dashboard, seats, door trims, carpets, headliners, and related components.
• Troubleshoot fitment issues, gaps, flushness, squeaks, and rattles.
• Optimize operator methods, tooling, ergonomics, and assembly cycle time.
• Monitor chassis assembly operations, including suspension, axle, steering, brake, and wheel assembly.
• Ensure correct bolt tightening torque and fastening quality.
• Verify component alignment, fitment, and assembly sequence.
• Troubleshoot assembly defects and coordinate corrective actions with Quality and Maintenance teams.
• Monitor vehicle assembly processes and ensure compliance with work instructions.
• Coordinate installation and verification of major vehicle components.
