What this job involves:
Based in Mumbai or Bangalore and reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, REMS India, the Talent Acquisition Team Lead will drive strategic talent acquisition for India's workplace management/facility management business. You'll manage complex hiring initiatives, lead workforce planning efforts, and supervise a specialized team of 1-5 Talent Acquisition professionals. As a recruiting expert, you'll apply in-depth sourcing knowledge to solve complex talent challenges while shaping processes and influencing the future direction of talent acquisition for the business & clients across India.
Core Competencies:
- Complex Hiring Initiatives & Workforce Planning Lead large-scale hiring programs for Workplace Management/Facility Management across multiple locations
- Partner with senior leaders to develop workforce plans aligned with growth targets
- Forecast talent needs, identify gaps, and develop proactive sourcing strategies
In-Depth Technical Sourcing Knowledge
- Apply advanced sourcing methodologies to reach passive and specialized talent
- Design innovative multi-channel sourcing campaigns for hard-to-fill roles
- Build talent communities and stay current on sourcing technologies and intelligence tools
Technical Recruiting Expertise & Guidance
- Serve as subject matter expert, providing guidance on complex searches
- Advise on market conditions, compensation trends, and talent availability
- Act as trusted consultant to HR Business Partners and business leaders
Analytical Techniques for Complex Issues
- Utilize data analytics to diagnose challenges and optimize key recruitment metrics
- Generate market insights through competitor analysis and industry research
- Create dashboards translating data into actionable workforce intelligence
Team Leadership & Staff Development
- Supervise and develop 1-5 Talent Acquisition Specialists
- Provide training, coaching, and performance management
- Foster high-performance culture and identify succession talent
TA Process Improvements & Accountability
- Own accountability for talent acquisition process excellence
- Identify and implement improvements enhancing efficiency and candidate experience
- Champion change management and measure process effectiveness
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Manage and develop a team of 1-5 Talent Acquisition Specialists focused on Workplace Management/Facility Management business hiring
- Lead complex, multi-location hiring initiatives and collaborate with business leaders on workforce planning, talent forecasting, and strategic hiring roadmaps
- Apply advanced sourcing techniques to identify and engage passive candidates for specialized technical positions
- Provide hands-on guidance and training to team members on complex searches and technical recruiting challenges
- Analyze recruitment data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions
- Design and implement process improvements that enhance recruitment efficiency and candidate experience
- Manage large hiring programs and cross-functional teams during peak demand or business expansion
- Partner with HR Business Partners and senior stakeholders to align talent strategies with business objectives
- Lead employer branding and talent community initiatives specific to Workplace Management/Facility Management business
- Oversee team performance metrics, ensuring delivery against SLAs and quality standards
- Participate in TA Leadership Team forums, contributing to India-wide capability building and process design
- Jump into critical searches personally when complexity, seniority, or business impact requires direct involvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that influence the future direction of TA for the business line
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 12–15+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience with demonstrated team leadership
- Proven track record managing complex hiring initiatives and workforce planning projects
- Experience supervising and developing recruitment teams (1-5 direct reports minimum)
- In-depth technical knowledge of advanced sourcing methodologies, tools, and platforms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to utilize data for complex problem-solvingDemonstrated success implementing TA process improvements with measurable impact
- Experience managing large hiring programs and cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior business leaders
- Advanced proficiency with ATS systems, recruitment technologies, and talent analytics platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in executive search or retained search environments
- Background scaling recruitment functions within high-growth organizations
- Prior involvement in employer branding, DEI initiatives, or workforce planning transformation
- Experience implementing recruitment technology or process automation solutions
- Track record influencing organizational strategy through talent insights
- Familiarity with regional and global talent acquisition operating models
- Ability to work in a fast paced and highly matrixed environment
