Job summary

JSW Sports is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its HR team in Mumbai. You will manage the recruitment lifecycle end-to-end across corporate and sports roles, partnering with leaders to understand manpower requirements and candidate profiles.

You will develop sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, portals and networks, build a strong talent pipeline, conduct initial screenings, coordinate interviews and drive offers to closure while ensuring a positive candidate experience and

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in recruitment / talent acquisition.
• Experience in hiring across corporate, commercial, creative, sales, marketing or sports roles.
• Startup/sports/media/entertainment, consumer or high-growth organisation experience would be an advantage.
• Graduate / postgraduate degree in HR, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Strong sourcing and interviewing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment from understanding the requirement to offer closure and onboarding.
• Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand manpower requirements, role expectations and candidate profiles.
• Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, professional networks and other channels.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future requirements.
• Conduct initial screening and assessments to evaluate candidates on skills, experience, cultural fit and role suitability.
• Coordinate interviews and ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Drive offer discussions, negotiations and closure of candidates within agreed timelines.
• Work closely with HR and business teams to ensure timely onboarding and joining of selected candidates.
• Maintain accurate recruitment MIS, trackers and dashboards, including open positions, pipeline, ageing, closures and offer-to-join ratios.
• Support employer branding and talent acquisition initiatives, including campus hiring, referral programmes and talent events.
• Build relationships with external recruitment agencies and ensure effective utilisation of recruitment partners.
• Continuously identify and implement ways to improve quality of hire, hiring speed and candidate experience.
• Strong sourcing and interviewing skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple positions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation and candidate closure skills.
• Data-driven approach with good knowledge of recruitment metrics.
• High ownership, urgency and execution orientation.
• Passion for sports and the sports ecosystem would be an advantage.

Experience & Qualifications
