Job summary

Shyam Metalics And Energy seeks a strategic Talent Acquisition and Recruitment leader to shape and execute end-to-end hiring, workforce planning, and governance across functions. You will build and maintain talent pipelines, lead senior hiring, and drive a strong candidate experience.

You will partner with leaders to forecast requirements, provide market insights, and align hiring with business growth while promoting DEI and employer branding through multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives and workforce plans.
• Drive annual manpower planning in collaboration with business and functional leaders.
• Establish recruitment frameworks, policies, processes, and governance mechanisms.
• Ensure availability of talent pipelines for current and future business needs.
• Partner with business leadership to forecast workforce requirements and critical skill demands.
• Translate business growth plans into effective hiring strategies.
• Provide market intelligence on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitor hiring practices.
• Advise management on recruitment risks and mitigation plans.
• Lead recruitment of senior, leadership, and niche talent positions.
• Build succession-oriented talent pipelines for strategic roles.
• Manage relationships with executive search firms and recruitment partners.
• Ensure quality hiring through robust assessment and selection methodologies.
• Responsible for end to end recruitment delivery across all functions from sourcing to onboarding
• Monitor recruitment productivity, turnaround time, and quality of hire.
• Ensure adherence to recruitment SLAs and policies.
• Drive continuous process improvement and recruitment automation initiatives
• Lead employer branding initiatives across digital and traditional platforms.
• Enhance the organization's visibility through campus engagements, professional networks, and industry forums.
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion through talent acquisition initiatives.
• Establish recruitment dashboards and metrics for leadership review.
• Analyze and report key recruitment indicators and trends.
• Utilize data-driven insights to improve hiring effectiveness and resource planning.
• Track recruitment budget utilization and hiring costs.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders and hiring managers.
• Drive hiring governance and review mechanisms with leadership teams.
• Ensure a superior candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Act as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition matters.
