Job summary

Babaclick is seeking a Talent Acquisition & People Ops Specialist to recruit for software engineering and AI roles and to support onboarding and HR processes in a growing team.

You’ll lead technical recruitment efforts, collaborate with leadership, and implement AI-assisted workflows to streamline sourcing, screening, and hiring across the business.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical recruitment experience with software engineers or similar technical roles.
• Confident outreach to candidates daily and effective screening conversations.
• Ability to discuss software projects, stacks, and contributions with engineering interviewers.
• Excellent spoken and written English for cross-team communication.
• Experience using Cursor or comparable AI tools to build or improve workflows.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

Babaclick builds software, AI workflows and operational systems that power global commerce, connecting suppliers, marketplaces and customers across borders. We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition & People Ops Specialist to recruit the people behind these systems and support our growing teams through organised, reliable people operations.

Technical recruitment will be your primary focus, particularly software engineering and AI-related roles. You’ll work closely with leadership and hiring managers to understand requirements, proactively find candidates and manage recruitment from first contact through to joining. Alongside hiring, you’ll support onboarding, employee documentation and core HR processes.

What You’ll Do

Technical Recruitment

• Manage recruitment across technical and selected business roles, from sourcing and screening through to offers and joining.
• Proactively approach candidates through LinkedIn, job platforms, referrals, technical communities and targeted research.
• Make outbound calls and conduct screening interviews to assess experience, project contributions, motivations and role suitability.
• Work with hiring managers to define selection criteria and present relevant shortlists with clear assessment notes.
• Coordinate interviews and technical assessments, gather feedback and keep hiring decisions moving.
• Maintain an organised pipeline and consistent candidate communication through offer acceptance, notice periods and joining.

AI & Recruitment Automation

• Use AI and automation to improve sourcing, candidate tracking, scheduling, follow-ups and reporting.
• Build or adapt practical workflows using Cursor or comparable AI coding tools.
• Identify and improve processes that slow hiring or create unnecessary administration.

People Operations

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, inductions and internal handovers.
• Prepare and maintain offer letters, employee records, HR correspondence and trackers.
• Support attendance and leave administration, probation reviews and performance review cycles.
• Assist with HR policies, employee communications and engagement initiatives.
• Handle routine employee queries with discretion, escalating sensitive matters appropriately.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on technical recruitment experience, with evidence of personally sourcing and successfully hiring software engineers or other technical talent.
• Confidence approaching candidates directly, making calls daily and conducting thoughtful screening interviews.
• Enough technical understanding to discuss software projects, technology stacks and individual contributions, and collaborate effectively with engineering interviewers.
• Excellent spoken and written English, with clear, professional communication across teams and geographies.
• Practical experience using Cursor or comparable AI tools to create useful workflows or automations—we’d like to see something you’ve personally built or improved.
• Strong organisation, judgement and follow-through, with the ability to balance hiring priorities and ongoing HR responsibilities.
• Familiarity with core HR processes, confidence using Excel / Google Sheets and care in handling confidential information.
• Availability to join immediately and work full-time from our Gurugram office.
