SHYAM METALICS AND ENERGY LIMITED is seeking a Mid/Senior-level Talent Acquisition Lead with proven experience in primary/secondary steel manufacturing and integrated steel plant greenfield projects. The role requires 10+ years in steel recruitment and a track record of AGM+ hiring, end-to-end processes, and strong HRMS/ATS proficiency.

The candidate will lead technical recruitment for steel-plant functions, build strong pipelines, and thrive in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant TA experience in Steel/Metals/Manufacturing.
• Greenfield Steel Plant & OEM technical recruitment experience.
• End-to-end recruitment and process orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition for senior and technical roles in steel manufacturing.
• Develop and manage sourcing strategies through databases, portals, and headhunting.
• Ensure compliance with Labour Law and plant-level recruitment policies.

Hiring | Talent Acquisition Lead – Steel Manufacturing

We are looking for a Mid/Senior-level Talent Acquisition professional with proven experience in Primary/Secondary Steel Manufacturing and Integrated Steel Plant Greenfield Projects.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant TA experience in Steel/Metals/Manufacturing
• Proven track record in Greenfield Steel Plant & OEM technical recruitment
• Strong sourcing capability through personal database, portals, references & headhunting
• Good understanding of Steel Plant units and technical functions
• Proven experience in AGM & Above hiring
• End-to-end recruitment & strong process orientation
• Working knowledge of HRMS / Recruitment systems
• Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
• Knowledge of Labor Law and Plant Level Recruitment.
• Contract Recruitment.

Primary/Secondary Steel industry experience is mandatory.

Educational Background:

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
• MBA/PGDM in HR / Human Resources / Personnel Management preferred.

Strongly Preferred:

• Engineering background — B.E./B.Tech, particularly Mechanical, Metallurgy, Electrical or Industrial Engineering — would be an advantage because the role involves understanding technical steel-plant functions and recruiting engineering talent.

Additional Advantage:

• PG Diploma / certification in HR, Talent Acquisition or Labour & Industrial Relations.
• Working knowledge/certification in HRMS / ATS / recruitment analytics.

Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred. Engineering graduates, particularly from Mechanical/Metallurgy/Electrical backgrounds, with strong Steel Industry TA experience will be an added advantage.
