Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and data models.
• Analyze telemetry data using Splunk SPL to monitor and alert on metrics.
• Translate complex datasets into actionable business insights.
• Build scalable queries to handle high-volume data.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to define KPIs and dashboards.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance, and governance.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau (a primary skill upto 70%)
• Work extensively with Splunk, leveraging SPL (Search Processing Language) to analyze and monitor telemetry data (secondary skill – upto 30%)
• Translate complex datasets into actionable insights for business and technical stakeholders
• Build scalable and efficient queries to handle high-volume, high-velocity telemetry data
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to define key metrics, KPIs, and monitoring frameworks
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization across dashboards and queries
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support proactive decision-making
• Document data models, dashboards, and analytical processes for reuse and governance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or BI-related roles
• Strong hands-on expertise in Tableau (dashboard development, data modeling, performance tuning)
• Tableau Certification (mandatory)
• Proficiency in Splunk with knowledge of SPL
• Experience working with telemetry/log/event data at scale
• Solid understanding of data structures, ETL processes, and data pipelines
• Ability to work with both structured and unstructured datasets
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams

Tableau Certification is a must
