Job summary

Itron is seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer to join our Bengaluru team. You will design and implement automated tests for end-to-end system functionality using C# and Selenium WebDriver, and you will collaborate with developers to improve test coverage and quality.

The role requires 1–3 years hands-on experience, strong OOP knowledge, and familiarity with Visual Studio and Git/Azure Repos. You will work with AI-assisted testing tools and contribute to robust test scripts and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in test automation using C# and Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficient in Visual Studio for writing, debugging, and maintaining automation code.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git/Azure Repos).
• Good knowledge of Web Applications, Computer Systems, Networks, and Databases.
• Strong understanding of OOPS concepts.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and ability to work with AI assisted tools.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and ownership skills.

Responsibilities
