Job summary

Itron, Inc. in Bengaluru, India, invites fresh graduates or students graduating in 2025 to join as an Apprentice. You will assist in software development, testing, debugging, and maintenance, and participate in sprint planning and reviews.

The role emphasizes learning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and documentation. No prior full-time work or apprenticeship experience is required; backlogs are not allowed.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or 2025 graduates with no backlogs and no prior full-time work.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++/C# with .NET and understanding of OOP concepts.
• Familiarity with SQL Server and database concepts.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in software development, testing, debugging, and maintenance activities.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and team meetings.
• Develop the code and execute test cases to validate product functionality and quality.
• Support defect investigation, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.

Note: Must be graduated recently or in the year 2025 with no backlogs, no prior full time work/apprenticeship experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in software development, testing, debugging, and maintenance activities.

Preferred Skills

• Good knowledge in C or C++ or C# language with .NET framework and OOPS concepts
• Knowledge on Microsoft SQL Server and RDMS concepts
• Good programming, analytical and debugging skills
• Good Team player, with clear oral and written communication skills
• Flexible to take up any work assignment in the project depending on priorities
