Job summary

Itron is hiring an Integration Test Automation Engineer to design and build automated integration tests for APIs, services and devices. You will work with developers to understand system behavior, define test coverage and maintain automation frameworks.

The role emphasizes building reliable test environments, debugging failing tests and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. Location preference is around Bangalore to enable office visits as needed.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of overall experience in software testing.
• Experience writing automated tests (integration or system-level preferred).
• Strong programming skills in C# and familiarity with APIs and services.

Job Summary

The Integration Test Automation Engineer is responsible for designing and building automated integration tests for new and existing features, validating interactions across services, APIs, and devices, and ensuring reliable execution through maintained test environments. The role also includes developing and maintaining automation frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and improving overall test coverage to reduce manual testing effort.

Required Qualifications

• Overall Experience of 0 -3 Years
• Experience writing automated tests (integration or system-level preferred)
• Strong programming skills (C# preferred)
• Understanding of APIs, services, and system interactions
• Familiar with Git and CI/CD tools
• Comfortable debugging issues across multiple components

Note: Location preference is in and around Bangalore, so that employee can visit office as needed.
