Job summary

Itron, Inc. in Bengaluru, India is seeking an Integration Test Automation Engineer to design and implement automated integration tests for services, APIs, and devices, and to maintain robust test environments.

The role requires 3–5 years of automation experience, strong C# skills, and familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools. You will collaborate with developers, set up test frameworks, and help expand test coverage while visiting the Bangalore office as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in automation testing, preferably integration or system-level.
  • Strong programming skills, C# preferred.
  • Solid understanding of APIs, services, and system interactions.
  • Familiar with Git and CI/CD tooling.
  • Able to debug across multiple components.
  • Location preference around Bangalore for office visits.

Job Summary

The Integration Test Automation Engineer is responsible for designing and building automated integration tests for new and existing features, validating interactions across services, APIs, and devices, and ensuring reliable execution through maintained test environments. The role also includes developing and maintaining automation frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and improving overall test coverage to reduce manual testing effort.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
  • Overall Experience of 3-5 Years
  • Experience writing automated tests (integration or system-level preferred)
  • Strong programming skills (C# preferred)
  • Understanding of APIs, services, and system interactions
  • Familiar with Git and CI/CD tools
  • Comfortable debugging issues across multiple components
  • Note: Location preference is in and around Bangalore, so that employee can visit office as needed
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
