Job summary

Itron is seeking an Integration Test Automation Engineer in Bengaluru to design and build automated tests for services, APIs, and devices, and to validate interactions across components.

You will develop and maintain automation frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar), and help improve test coverage to reduce manual testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience writing automated tests (integration or system-level).
• Strong programming skills in C#.
• Understanding of APIs, services, and system interactions.
• Familiar with Git and CI/CD tools.

Job Summary

The Integration Test Automation Engineer is responsible for designing and building automated integration tests for new and existing features, validating interactions across services, APIs, and devices, and ensuring reliable execution through maintained test environments. The role also includes developing and maintaining automation frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and improving overall test coverage to reduce manual testing effort.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automated integration tests for new and existing features

Required Qualifications

• Overall Experience of 3-5 Years
• Experience writing automated tests (integration or system-level preferred)
• Strong programming skills (C# preferred)
• Understanding of APIs, services, and system interactions
• Familiar with Git and CI/CD tools
• Comfortable debugging issues across multiple components

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Note: Location preference is in and around Bangalore, so that employee can visit office as needed
