Job summary

Larsen & Toubro PESL&T in Mumbai is seeking an Electronics System Engineer to lead development from inception through user trials for defense platforms.

The role focuses on system engineering for land, air, and unmanned platforms with hands-on UAV components, software/hardware integration, and adherence to MIL-STD standards. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient with communication protocols CAN, SPI, TCP/UDP, UART, I2C, etc.
• Strong electronics or embedded system design knowledge.
• Experience designing electronics schematics.
• Experience or exposure to unit/integration testing.
• Hands-on UAV components experience (INS, servos, motors, GPS, datalink).
• Familiar with MIL-STD 810 / MIL-STD 461 qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• System and architecture design for major subsystems; generate and maintain requirements.
• Create system-level design docs (Bill of Materials, wiring charts, harness/assembly drawings).
• Coordinate with stakeholders for integration and testing (SIL/SILs, HILS).

Responsibilities

• System and architecture designGenerate and maintain system and subsystem requirementsGenerate system level design documents like Bill of Material, Wiring Chart, Harness Drawings, Assembly drawings etc.
• Selection of subsystemsPower budget, weight budget, FMECA calculation.
• System integration and testing like SILS, HILSCo-ordination with various stake holders
