Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Electronics Systems is seeking an experienced electronics engineer in Mumbai to design positioning systems, integrate sensors and develop GA drawings and BOMs.

You will work on harness design, cables, IO lists, and interface testing with emphasis on EMI/EMC and thermal reliability for defense applications. Hands-on lab work with test equipment and qualification testing is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics packaging and qualification.
• Knowledge of sensor and electronic component selection.
• Hands-on experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Familiarity with interface designs over serial, Ethernet, CAN, etc.
• Understanding of environmental & EMI/EMC test requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design electronics systems and preparation of GA drawings, BOM, schematics, and harnesses.
• Review IO lists, cable diagrams and cable schedules.
• Integration and testing of prototypes including interface testing (Serial, Ethernet, CAN).
• Conduct environmental, EMI/EMC qualification tests and reliability analyses.
• Apply AI concepts in defense applications where relevant.

Job description

• Electronics system architecture design (Positioning systems). Preparation of preliminary and critical designs of systems.
• Knowledge of sensors (Electro-Optics, Gyros, INS, pressure, position, thermal etc.), Motors & drives.
• Preparation & review of GA drawings, BOM, schematics, Harness in tools like AutoCad & E3/Solidworks, Preparation of IO list,Cable diagram & cable schedule.
• Integration and testing of prototypes. Experience in interface design over Sync/Async Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN etc.
• Experience in unit qualifications for environmental & EMI/ EMC compliances and validation tests
• Hands on experience with Test equipment, signal analysers, DSO, Signal generators etc.
• Understanding of Thermal analysis, reliability analysis, electronic packaging
• Understanding of weapons system. Application of AI in defence systems.
• Harness Design, cable routing, Naval SystemMandatory Skill :
