Job summary

PACCAR India in Pune seeks a Systems Engineer (Diagnostic Calibration Engineer) to join our engineering team. The role focuses on supporting diagnostic calibration, validation, and fault management for engine and aftertreatment systems, ensuring robust diagnostic performance across vehicle programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics / Mechanical / Automobile / Electronics Engineering.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in automotive diagnostics and calibration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex diagnostic data.

Responsibilities

• Support fault management and diagnostic calibration activities for engine and aftertreatment systems.
• Perform diagnostic validation across HIL, engine, and vehicle test environments.
• Execute OBD calibration activities and validate electrical signals and diagnostic functionality.
• Create and maintain test cases to support diagnostic verification and validation activities.
• Perform fault simulation and diagnostic evaluations using approved technical documentation.
• Analyse diagnostic and field test data to identify issues and support corrective actions.
• Prepare calibration reports, validation summaries, and technical recommendations.
• Support troubleshooting activities during product development and validation phases.
• Perform IUMPR analysis to assess OBD monitor performance and compliance.
• Participate in at least one scheduled weekend support activity per month to support project, testing, or release requirements.
