Job summary

PACCAR India is seeking a Systems Engineer (Diagnostic Calibration Engineer) in Pune to support diagnostic calibration, validation, and fault management for engine and aftertreatment systems, ensuring robust diagnostic performance across vehicle development programs.

You will work with cross-functional teams to create and maintain test cases, perform fault simulations, analyse data, and prepare calibration reports and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics / Mechanical / Automobile / Electronics Engineering.
• 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in automotive diagnostics.
• Expertise in diagnostic calibration, validation, and fault management.
• Knowledge of OBD systems and ECU diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Support fault management and diagnostic calibration activities for engine and aftertreatment systems.
• Perform diagnostic validation across HIL, engine, and vehicle test environments.
• Execute OBD calibration activities and validate electrical signals and diagnostic functionality.
• Create and maintain test cases to support diagnostic verification and validation activities.
• Perform fault simulation and diagnostic evaluations using approved technical documentation.
• Analyse diagnostic and field test data to identify issues and support corrective actions.
• Prepare calibration reports, validation summaries, and technical recommendations.
• Support troubleshooting activities during product development and validation phases.
• Perform IUMPR analysis to assess OBD monitor performance and compliance.
