The role involves provisioning and managing VMs, performing migrations, and ensuring high availability and performance. Collaboration with storage, network, and security teams is essential for smooth operations.

Qualifications

• 58 years of experience in managing VMware virtualization infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, virtualization lifecycle management, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Administer VMware vSphere infrastructure including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
• Provision, configure, and manage Virtual Machines (VMs).
• Perform VM cloning, template creation, snapshots, and lifecycle management.
• Manage vMotion, Storage vMotion, HA, DRS, and resource pools.
• Monitor VMware infrastructure performance and capacity.
• Troubleshoot virtualization, storage, networking, and VM-related issues.
• Perform VMware upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
• Support disaster recovery and backup operations.
• Work closely with Storage, Network, Backup, and Security teams.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.
• Handle Incident, Problem, and Change Management activities.
