Job summary

Cyient in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is seeking a test professional to provide end-to-end test development and software validation for embedded systems, with emphasis on ADAS. You will craft test cases, build specifications, and create scenarios using VTD/ROD tools, implementing tests with YAML scripts and performing batch executions, failure analysis, and defect isolation.

We expect hands-on experience in system testing of automotive software, familiarity with HIL/SIL, and strong debugging skills

Qualifications

• Embedded system system testing experience required, preferably in Automotive ADAS.
• Knowledge of system test methodologies and design techniques.
• Proficiency with HIL/SIL simulations and protocol knowledge.
• Scripting experience with CAPL, Python or YAML preferred.
• Experience in test environments, debugging, and Docker release validation.
• Familiar with SW development processes and vehicle test environments.
• ISTQB Foundation level, mandatory.

Roles and Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, works on the architecture and applied knowledge of coding an electronic microcontroller or components and ensure product works to specification. Assists in coding, testing, and debugging software or making enhancements to existing software . Writes programs according to specifications from higher level staff or Technical team.
