Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Strong hands‑on experience in Automotive Testing for ECUs and embedded software.
Deep expertise in CAN, LIN, UDS, Diagnostics, and Communication Protocols.
Proven experience in HIL/SIL/MIL environments (Vector, NI, dSPACE, ETAS, etc.).
Proficiency in Python, CAPL, C/C++/C#, or equivalent scripting languages.
Working knowledge of Test Automation Frameworks, Jenkins CI/CD, and version control (Git, SVN).
Familiarity with ASPICE, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to work across hardware and software boundaries.
Roles & Responsibilities
Process Understanding & Assessment:
Analyze and document existing manual testing workflows, test setups, and validation environments.
Identify gaps, redundancies, and improvement opportunities in current processes.
Test Automation Architecture & Design:
Define and implement the overall test automation architecture for embedded software validation (HIL, SIL, MIL).
Select appropriate tools, frameworks, and interfaces (e.g., CANoe, Vector tools, NI VeriStand, Python, CAPL, dSPACE, Jenkins).
Design reusable automation modules for regression, integration, and system‑level testing.
Implementation & Technical Leadership:
Drive hands‑on development of automated test scripts and frameworks.
Lead and mentor test automation engineers to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
Collaboration & Coordination:
Work closely with development, system engineering, and project management teams to ensure early test involvement.
Collaborate with Stoneridge engineering teams to align on scope, setup, and test coverage.
Ensure adherence to ASPICE test process areas (SYS.4, SWE.5, SWE.6).
Reporting & Governance:
Establish KPIs for test coverage, automation efficiency, and defect leakage.
Prepare and present periodic reports on validation progress, challenges, and automation ROI.
