Job summary

Qualifications

• UG or PG with basic knowledge in IT.
• IT certification acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and assistance to staff and students for hardware, software, and system-related issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software applications, operating systems, and peripheral devices.
• Perform system setup, software installation, updates, and regular maintenance to ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, networks, and other IT equipment.
• Monitor computer systems and laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning and availability.
• Provide support during laboratory sessions, online classes, examinations, and other academic activities.
• Setting up and managing audio-visual (AV) equipment -including wireless microphones, digital mixing consoles and video conferencing setups for hybrid guest lectures.
• IT Asset Inventory: Keeping an accurate log of all technical assets -desktops, laptops, license keys, and network components
