PromptTech Global, located in Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, invites applications for the IT Support & Hardware Engineer role. You will install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware while diagnosing hardware, software, and network issues to keep business operations running smoothly.

The role requires problem‑solving, good communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Familiar with computer hardware and peripherals.
• Understanding of LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi and TCP/IP fundamentals.
• Experience with Windows OS, Office, and common troubleshooting tools.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field; certifications like A+, N+, CCNA add value.
• Fresher to 3 years in IT support, desktop support, or hardware maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in‑person.
• Perform system upgrades, hardware replacements, and preventive maintenance.
• Configure and troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
• Maintain IT inventory and documentation of assets.
• Ensure data backup, security, and antivirus protection.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty services.

Key Responsibilities
