Job summary

Centum T&S India, part of Centum Electronics Group, designs for mission-critical projects and delivers test benches for electronics systems. The role focuses on engineering, IVVQPR, and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer specs and project economics.

The candidate should have a Bachelors in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics, with 6+ years' experience in test bench engineering in electronics design/manufacturing services.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Project Manager/Architect to understand technical requirements for test bench and analyze customer data packs.
• Prepare wiring harness diagrams, electrical/electronic schematics, BOM and procurement plan; liaise with procurement in India/France.
• Deliver final configuration files of test bench during project execution.
• Prepare cost estimations; identify substitute parts; source from India and globally.
• Interact with suppliers and sub-contractors for Test Fixture; ensure delivery per specs.

Centum T&S India is, part of Centum Electronics Group, that offers a wide range of electronic and embedded systems design engineering services to Global Customers to help them realize complex products and sub-systems. Centum T&S is an Electronics Design Centre of Excellence, designing for mission-critical projects in Aerospace/Space, Transportation, Medical Electronics, Défense Electronics, etc. Centum Electronics Group has other design centers in France, the USA, Canada & Germany.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated multitasker and a demonstrated team player. You will be responsible for the quality of the deliveries and should interact with cross cross-functional team and resolve problems. You should excel in working with global stakeholders, have outstanding communication and leadership skills, and report to the Manufacturing lead.

Position Overview

What You'll Do

• Interact with the Project Manager / Architect to understand the technical requirements specifications for the test bench; analyze data pack from customer.
• Prepare wiring harness diagrams, electrical/ electronic schematics, BOM and procurement plan for items and work with supply chain in France or in India.
• Deliver the final configuration files of the test bench, during project execution
• Preparing cost estimations; determining equivalent parts for substitution when specific parts are unavailable; Identify appropriate sources in India and globally, using the parts list.
• Liaison with suppliers and procurement team.
• Interact with sub-contractors for Test Fixture.
• Contribute to the delivery of the test bench as per customer specifications and within project economics.
• Perform IVVQPR, troubleshoot and rectify any failures in PCBA/LRU during IVVQPR

Main Responsibilities

Who You Are?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical OR Electronics Engg (or related field)
• Prior experience of at least 6+ years in test bench engineering in electronics design/manufacturing services industry
• Should have experience in ATE (Automated test equipment design & development and experience in test bench electrical design.
• Should have experience in datapack analysis, BOM estimation, and creation.
• Know-how about the Data Pack of Test Bench (COTS, Boards, mechanical parts, electrical part, harness). Manufacturing, integration and validation of test systems.
• Meticulous and hands-on with attention to details, foresight and independent execution capability, with minimum guidance.
• Ability to establish good relationship with colleagues, partners, external teams and get things done.
