Job summary

Visteon Corporation in India seeks a System Engineer to develop ASPICE-compliant requirements for instrument clusters and infotainment systems. You will lead requirements analysis, plan engineering activities, and support customer discussions on capture and changes, collaborating with software, system and hardware teams.

Experience with DOORS NG, JIRA and modeling tools is preferred, with a focus on automotive standards and safety.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech (Electronics/ETC) with 6+ years in system engineering or testing.
• Strong knowledge of Instrument Cluster and Infotainment architecture, CAN, Diagnostics, BT/WiFi.
• Hands on with UML, MATLAB; DOORS NG and JIRA for requirements.

System Engineer:

Detailed description: Key Objectives of this Role:

• Develop Systems Engineering Requirements in compliance to ASPICE standards
• Perform requirements analysis and capture in compliance with applicable automotive standards
• Estimate and Plan Systems Engineering activities
• Support technical meetings with Customer on requirements capture
• Japan language is most preferable
• Collaborate with software, system, hardware TPs/TFs during critical design directions
• Support defect analysis and perform cross program defect verification
• Review TGR and TGW from similar projects and apply as appropriate during planning phase
• Support system engineering during feature level FMEA to develop fail safe requirements
• Review impact analysis of critical Customer changes with respect to cost and functionality
• Identify elevate risks/dependencies (technology, capability, 3rd party, software, hardware, input docs)
• Collect and analyze quality metrics and take appropriate actions in terms of checklist, training, mentoring, etc.
• Analyze project level non-compliances and take appropriate action
• Ensure use of requirements tools and share learning with the team
• Peer review of all system engineering work products

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

• BE/B.Tech (Electronics/ETC) with Minimum 6+ years of Experience in System Engineering or System Testing with very good Knowledge on Instrument Cluster and Infotainment System Architecture, Fuel Algorithm, Trip Computer algorithm, BT, Wifi, CAN, Diagnostics, Voice, Audio etc.
• Experienced in:
  • Requirement Management tools like DOORS NG, JIRA
  • CAN Network and Diagnostics
  • Cluster Domain Knowledge
  • G-Ul requirements
  • System Architecture
  • System Integration testing
  • HW Architecture
  • Specialize in Driver Information (Instrument Clusters) or Infotainment
  • Understand regulatory and legal requirements pertaining to area of specialization
  • Hands on experience in Modeling languages such as UML, MATLAB
  • Automotive embedded industry business acumen
  • Communication and Technical Negotiation skills
