Qualifications

• Hands-on network administration experience in Linux and Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Administration of Fortinet firewalls, including policy configuration, VPNs, and security controls.
• Configure VLANs, routing, switching, and VPNs.
• Implement and manage network and infrastructure monitoring tools for proactive incident detection and performance management.
• Support and enforce network security controls, including IDS/IPS, MFA, and access restrictions.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network performance, connectivity, and security issues.
• Work in Windows and Linux-based environments (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and support core services.
• Administer Active Directory, Desktop management along with Windows endpoints.
• Manage DNS, GPOs, identity & access management, and user lifecycle activities.
• Perform desktop and server installation, patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Support virtualization platforms and desktop infrastructure.
• Handle backup, restoration, and system availability.
• Provide support for email platforms such as Office 365, Zoho, or similar.
• Administration of SSO, VPN access, identity management, and access control mechanisms.
• Ensure adherence to IT security and cybersecurity best practices.

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Network Engineer with technical expertise in managing and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in network administration, Linux-based environments, Windows endpoints, and virtualization platforms.

This role operates in a hybrid infrastructure environment with Linux (Samba-based Active Directory/LDAP), Windows endpoints, firewall security controls

Key Responsibilities

Network, Security & Monitoring

• Administration of Fortinet firewalls, including policy configuration, VPNs, and security controls


• Configure and support network components such as VLANs, routing, switching, and VPNs


• Implement and manage network and infrastructure monitoring tools for proactive incident detection and performance management


• Support and enforce network security controls, including IDS/IPS, MFA, and access restrictions


• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network performance, connectivity, and security issues

Systems & Infrastructure Management

• Work in Windows and Linux-based environments (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and support core services
