Job summary

Aditya Birla Insulators seeks a strategic professional to support long-range planning across new markets, asset optimization and operational improvements. The role involves analyzing initiatives, designing implementation plans and tracking progress with the Strategy team.

You will also support sustainability reporting (EcoVadis, CDP, GRI, UNGC) and lead decarbonization roadmaps, while exploring inorganic growth opportunities such as partnerships and potential acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of Strategy in formulating long-range strategies for the business, including entering new markets and asset optimization.
• Analyze economics of strategic initiatives and develop prioritization framework.
• Design implementation plans for strategic initiatives and drive progress.
• Analyze and report on major competitors, strategic customers, and carbon black market developments.
• Support sustainability reports (EcoVadis, CDP, GRI, UNGC) and complete ESG questionnaires.
• Automate sustainability data collection and streamline key processes.
• Design a decarbonization roadmap to achieve CO2 reduction targets and assess feasibility of initiatives.
• Support execution of the decarbonization plan and research future technologies for piloting or investment.
• Identify and originate inorganic growth opportunities (partnerships, JVs, acquisitions) and assist due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Corporate Strategy (1/3): Support the Head of Strategy in formulating longrange strategies for the business encompassing entering new markets, operational improvement, global asset optimization
• Analyze economics of strategic initiatives and develop prioritization framework
• Design implementation plans for strategic initiatives and actively drive progress
• Analyze and report out on major competitors, strategic customers, and new developments in the carbon black market
• Sustainability (1/3): Support team in completing major sustainability reports including EcoVadis, CDP, GRI, UNGC as well as Birla Carbon s annual Sustainability Report
• Complete customer ESG questionnaires as and when required
• Actively seek means to automate sustainability data collection and streamline key processes
• Work with team to design decarbonization roadmap to achieve CO2 reduction targets
• Analyze economics, capital investment, risk factors, feasibility of decarbonization initiatives underpinning the plan
• Support team in implementing decarbonization plan
• Research future decarbonization technologies for piloting or investment
• Inorganic Growth (1/3): Support Head of Strategy in identifying and originating potential partnerships, JV s, acquisitions
• Complete ficial analysis of potential inorganic transactions
• Support team in executing transactions through managing due diligence

Supporting Actions

• KRA1 Corporate Strategy : Set up PMO for execution of longrange strategy; Structure and lead specific operational initiatives around supply chain, and asset strategy; Define market adjacencies and complete deep dives
• KRA2 Sustainability : Support team in regulatory reporting; Lead development and implementation of decarbonization roadmap
• KRA3 Inorganic Growth : Build pipeline of partnership targets; Execute inorganic transactions as they come about
