Job summary

MALABAR GOLD & DIAMONDS is seeking an ESG Manager to lead the organization's environmental, social, and governance strategy. You will align sustainability goals with business objectives, oversee ESG reporting, and drive cross-functional initiatives across the company.

You will engage stakeholders, monitor performance metrics, ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met, and continuously improve disclosures and sustainability programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ESG strategies, policies, and programs aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead ESG data collection, analysis, and reporting efforts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable frameworks and standards.
• Monitor and enhance the company's environmental, social, and governance performance metrics.
• Drive sustainability initiatives related to energy efficiency, carbon reduction, waste management, diversity & inclusion, employee well-being, and community engagement.
• Ensure compliance with ESG-related regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements.
• Prepare and manage ESG disclosures, sustainability reports, and presentations for management and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Compliance to integrate ESG practices into business operations.
• Conduct ESG risk assessments and recommend improvement actions.
• Engage with customers, investors, auditors, and other stakeholders on ESG-related matters.
• Track industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging ESG best practices.
