NielsenIQ is seeking a proactive MFT Support Specialist to join the Enterprise Integration team in Pune. The role focuses on supporting and maintaining Managed File Transfer platforms across cloud and on‑prem environments, ensuring secure and reliable file exchange with internal apps, partners, and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring strong troubleshooting, Linux/Windows administration, and production support experience, with a customer‑first mindset to sustain high service availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 2–5 years in application or middleware support, MFT operations, or production support.
• Experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms preferred.
• Strong incident/problem management and collaboration with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 operational support for enterprise MFT platforms and file transfer services.
• Monitor MFT environments and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
• Analyze logs to troubleshoot file transfer failures.
• Onboard new file transfer partners, users, certificates, and workflows.
• Perform root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Support secure file transfer protocols: SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, PGP.
• Coordinate with infra, network, security, cloud, app, and business teams during incidents.
• Execute platform maintenance, certificate renewals, upgrades, patching, and health checks.
• Develop and maintain runbooks and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in on-call and major incident management.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce issue inflow and improve stability.

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled MFT Support Specialist to join our Enterprise Integration team. The role will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Managed File Transfer platforms, ensuring reliable and secure file exchange services across internal applications, business partners, and cloud/on-premises environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with MFT platforms, Linux/Windows administration, production support, incident management, and a customer-focused mindset to maintain high service availability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 operational support for enterprise MFT platforms and file transfer services.
• Monitor MFT environments and ensure timely resolution of production incidents and service requests.
• Analyze application, system, and transfer logs to identify and troubleshoot file transfer failures.
• Manage onboarding of new file transfer partners, users, certificates, and workflows.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions for recurring issues.
• Support secure file transfer protocols including SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, and PGP encryption.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, network, security, cloud, application, and business teams during incident resolution.
• Execute platform maintenance activities, certificate renewals, upgrades, patching, and health checks.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, troubleshooting guides, and support runbooks.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management as required.
• Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency improvements.
• Identifying and implementing automation opportunities to reduce issue inflow, analyzing recurring incidents, and driving permanent resolutions to improve system stability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in application support, middleware support, integration support, MFT operations, or production support environments.
• Experience supporting Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms is preferred.
• Experience in incident management, problem management, and production support activities.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to work effectively with global stakeholders.
