NielsenIQ is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the SA&I team. You will develop and maintain applications using .NET/C# with SQL Server, and contribute to migrating legacy WebForms to .NET Core while building RESTful APIs and backend services.

You will work in a collaborative environment, engaging with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software, optimize queries, and ensure performance, security, and scalability of systems across on-prem and cloud workflows.

Formación

• 6-9 years of software development experience using .NET / C# and SQL Server.
• Experience with WebForms and ASP.NET MVC is a plus.
• Familiarity with .NET Core and modern web development practices.
• Understanding of relational databases and writing optimized SQL queries.
• Knowledge of Git, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

The SA&I team manages survey platforms and panel management software, supporting key business processes and ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis. Our current technology stack consists primarily of .NET / C# / SQL Server. We are in the process of modernizing our infrastructure, transitioning towards .NET Core and more contemporary development practices.

The ideal candidate is a skilled software engineer with experience in .NET technologies, an interest in modernizing legacy systems, and a collaborative mindset. You will be part of a flexible and collaborative environment where you can develop and refine your skills while working on impactful projects.

Qualifications

• 6 - 9 years of experience in software development using .NET / C# and SQL Server.
• Experience with WebForms and ASP.NET MVC is a plus.
• Familiarity with .NET Core and modern web development practices.
• Understanding of relational databases and writing optimized SQL queries.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (Git), unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure)
• A good understanding of .net http request pipelines, clean architecture, Dependency-Injection concepts and unit testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
