Job Overview

The Support Services Staff will be responsible for assisting hospital operations, patient support, cleanliness assistance, patient movement, basic service coordination, material handling, and general support activities at GBL Barala Hospital, Chomu. 10th Pass or 12th Pass qualification with a minimum of 1 year of experience in hospital support services or related work.

Responsibilities

• Support patient movement, wheelchair assistance, stretcher shifting, and basic patient help.
• Assist nursing, reception, housekeeping, security, and administration teams as assigned.
• Help maintain cleanliness, discipline, and proper arrangement in hospital areas.
• Guide patients and visitors to departments, OPD, billing, laboratory, and pharmacy areas.
• Support material movement, document delivery, and basic hospital errands.
• Assist during admission, discharge, patient transfer, and emergency movement when required.
• Follow instructions from supervisors, nurses, doctors, and administration staff.
• Maintain polite and respectful communication with patients, relatives, and staff.
• Follow infection control, hand hygiene, PPE, and hospital safety guidelines.
• Report spills, damages, patient concerns, or safety issues to seniors promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
• Ensure helpful, safe, and patient‑friendly support service delivery.
