Job description

The Housekeeping Staff will be responsible for maintaining hospital cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene, waste handling, patient area cleaning, and infection control support at Kailash Healthcare, Greater Noida. This requires 10th or 12th pass qualification with 2–4 years of housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, wards, OPD areas, corridors, toilets, and public areas as assigned.
• Follow hospital cleaning schedules, housekeeping SOPs, and hygiene standards.
• Support discharge cleaning, routine cleaning, terminal cleaning, and urgent cleaning requests.
• Handle biomedical waste and general waste as per hospital guidelines.
• Use cleaning materials, disinfectants, and equipment safely and properly.
• Maintain cleanliness in patient care areas without disturbing hospital workflow.
• Report spills, damages, maintenance issues, pest issues, or safety concerns to seniors promptly.
• Coordinate with nursing, infection control, maintenance, and administration teams.
• Follow hand hygiene, PPE, infection control, and patient safety practices.
• Maintain housekeeping tools, trolleys, and cleaning materials properly.
• Support patient-friendly and respectful hospital environment.
• Ensure clean, safe, and hygienic hospital premises.
