Persistent Systems in Pune is seeking a Support Engineer with 5-8 years of enterprise experience to operate and enhance large-scale platforms. You will monitor services, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root-cause analysis while following strong change-control practices.

You will collaborate across application, cloud, network, database, and security teams to ensure reliability, availability, and adherence to documented processes. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Practical administration and production-support experience involving Progress 4GL, AWS, ITIL, Change Management.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, incident resolution, change execution, troubleshooting, performance, availability, and operational controls.
• Ability to follow and improve standard operating procedures, document technical work, and communicate status clearly.
• Strong analytical, ownership, customer-service, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in structured enterprises support environments and manage priorities responsibly.
