Job summary

MEL Systems and Services Ltd is seeking an engineer to provide technical support for electrical and software issues, troubleshoot PLC communications, and assist with installation, commissioning, and maintenance at customer sites.

You will coordinate with development and project teams, assist customers via phone/email/remote support, monitor system performance, and prepare technical documentation. Travel for on-site support is required; basic training for customers may be provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/BTech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, ECE, Mechatronics or related field.
• Basic Python-based software knowledge for industrial automation.
• Familiarity with PLC, HMI, and industrial communication protocols.
• Understanding of software applications, databases, and Windows environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle customer interactions professionally.
• Willingness to travel for site support and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to SQL, reporting tools, or application support is preferred.
