Job summary

UST is a Bengaluru-based company seeking a Supply Chain professional with hands-on experience in procurement, inventory management, sourcing, and demand planning. The role requires strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project management skills to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, sourcing and supplier teams.

• Bachelor of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent in supply chain operations.
• Broad understanding of supply-demand for customer sales orders execution.
• Hands-on experience in procurement, inventory management and sourcing.
• Knowledge on Engineering change management is preferred.
• Semiconductor industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, sourcing and suppliers.
• Lead or execute projects of moderate scope with limited supervision.
• Develop reports and analytics using Excel, SQL and Tableau to support supply chain decisions.

Summary:

UST is looking for a Supply Chain professional with experience in procurement, inventory management, sourcing, and supply-demand planning. The candidate should have strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and supplier teams.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Equivalent degree in supply chain operations


• Broad understanding of supply demand for customer sales orders execution


• Hands-on experience in supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management and sourcing


• Knowledge on Engineering change management is preferred


• Semiconductor industry experience is preferred.

Project Management Problem solving

• Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents


• Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills across engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and suppliers


• Lead or execute projects of moderate scope with limited supervision

Other skills:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, suppliers)


• Proficiency in tools such as Excel (intermediate / advanced for analysis)and ERP systems (SAP preferred)


• Hands on experience in advanced Excel / SQL/Tableau to develop reports


• Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work


• Excellent communication skills
