Job summary

UST in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of experience to lead infrastructure architecture across multiple R&D groups, and to own end-to-end build, test, and deployment pipelines.

The role requires strong Linux skills and practical experience with Git/JFrog/Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible and Python, including on-prem/air-gap environments; involvement in security practices and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes, is essential.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years hands-on DevOps engineering.
• Experience with artifact management cycle: GIT, JFrog, Jenkins.
• Automation development using Ansible, Terraform and Python.
• Experience in on-prem environment, air-gap concepts.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows scripting.
• Knowledge of CI, configuration management and containerization solutions.
• Familiar with network switches, firewalls and other network devices.
• Experience with Security Engineering solutions and concepts a big advantage.
• Experience with Virtualization, Docker, containers. Build, configure, upgrades.
• Hands on experience with Kubernetes on prem: install, configure, maintaining and supporting.

• Automation development using Ansible, Terraform and Python.
• Experience in on prem environment, air‑gap environment concepts.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and (Windows scripting.)
• Knowledge of CI, configuration management and containerization solutions.
• Familiar with Network switches, Firewall and other network devices - strong advantages.
• Experience with Security Engineering solutions and concepts - a big advantage
