Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Develop and execute category-specific sourcing strategies for indirect goods and services.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with key suppliers and ensure adherence to SLAs, quality standards, delivery timelines, and terms.
• Commercial Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions; drive cost savings.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, HR, Operations to understand procurement requirements.
• Spend & Data Analysis: Analyze procurement spend, supplier performance, pricing trends, and category data.

About the Role

We are looking for dynamic and result-oriented professionals to join our Supply Chain Management team at Supa MIDC, Ahmednagar. The role will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor management, commercial negotiations, procurement planning, cost optimization, and stakeholder coordination for indirect goods and services.

The position will work closely with internal functions and suppliers to ensure cost-effective, timely, quality-driven, and compliant procurement aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :-

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

• Develop and execute category-specific sourcing strategies for indirect goods and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential suppliers based on quality, cost, capability, reliability, and delivery requirements.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify competitive sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure timely procurement of goods and services as per business requirements.

Vendor Management

• Manage relationships with key suppliers and ensure adherence to agreed SLAs, quality standards, delivery timelines, and commercial terms.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and initiate corrective actions wherever required.
• Develop and maintain a reliable and competitive vendor base.
• Identify and mitigate supplier-related operational and commercial risks.

Commercial Negotiation & Cost Optimization

• Lead negotiations with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, SLAs, and contractual conditions.
• Drive cost-saving and cost-optimization initiatives without compromising quality or service levels.
• Evaluate quotations, conduct commercial comparisons, and recommend the most suitable suppliers.
• Support contract renewals and renegotiations to achieve sustainable commercial benefits.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with internal functions such as Finance, Legal, IT, Administration, HR, Operations, and other business teams to understand procurement requirements.
• Work with stakeholders to define specifications, timelines, budgets, and sourcing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval processes.
• Act as a bridge between internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of requirements.

Spend & Data Analysis

• Analyze procurement spend, supplier performance, pricing trends, and category-level data.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, process improvement, and risk mitigation.
• Track procurement KPIs, savings, vendor performance, and sourcing outcomes.
• Prepare regular MIS, dashboards, and management reports.

Process & Compliance

• Ensure proper documentation of sourcing activities, vendor evaluations, negotiations, purchase processes, and contracts.
• Ensure procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
• Maintain accurate procurement and supplier records.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.

Candidate Profile:-

• 28 years of relevant experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Indirect Procurement, or Vendor Management.
• Strong knowledge of vendor evaluation, sourcing processes, commercial negotiations, and cost optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/procurement systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement requirements simultaneously.
