Job summary

Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited is seeking a Business Excellence and Vendor Risk analyst to conduct detailed analysis of current Supply Chain processes and support BE programs across all plants.

You will develop MIS, shortlist projects, build business cases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and significant savings.

The role focuses on improving vendor risk management, streamlining workflows, and delivering key performance indicators to senior management.

Qualifications

• BE in Chemical or Mechanical with MBA is required.
• Experience developing business cases for senior management in manufacturing/supply chain/projects.
• Exposure to supply chain/project environments is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in BE workshops for idea generation and development.
• Develop business cases for shortlisted ideas and present to HODs and SC Head.
• Create detailed Project Charters with BE stakeholders and obtain Steering Committee sign-off.
• Manage program implementation progress and circulate MIS to stakeholders.
• Provide strategic leadership to drive supply chain excellence initiatives and improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement programs and monitor milestones.
• Develop training initiatives to enhance team skills.

Job description

Conduct detailed analysis of current Supply Chain processes within the Vendor Risk Supply Chain team.

This role would act as support to for Business Excellence (BE) program.

Will work on various Business Excellence projects across Supply Chain covering all plants as well as specific areas wherein

there is opportunity to optimise Supply Chain leading to significant savings.

Support in shortlisting various projects along with BE consultants

Carry out analysis of supporting date to develop business case and present business case to HODs as well as senior management.

Post approval of business case, support in developing Project Charter for implementation till sign off from management

Work with cross-functional teams for implementation of short-listed projects

Develop MIS for implementation and highlight areas of concerns to middle/ top-management as part of regular review of Business Excellence track.

Circulate Monthly MIS with status of implementation with suitable insights including savings achieved for respective projects under implementation.

Identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains through data-driven insights.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize vendor risk management processes.

Streamline workflows to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Establish and oversee quality assurance measures for vendor risk assessments.

Ensure adherence to compliance standards and best practices.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate operation excellence principles into the vendor risk management lifecycle.

Collaborate with vendors to enhance communication and streamline processes.

Assistance in Workshops for Idea Generation Facilitate in workshops for developing a long list of Business Excellence ideas along with internal as well as consultants As per timeline

Business Case Development for Shortlisted Ideas Work closely with relevant internal stakeholders for collating data in required formats, carry out analysis and develop a business case in templatized formats. Present alongside consultant to HODs and Supply Chain Head for seeking approval of Business Case Closure of Business Cases as per timeline (Steering Committee Approval)

Development of Project Charter r As a next step to approved Projects, develop along with respective HODs and other stakeholders a detailed Project Charter This would include entailing implementation roadmap, role of various stakeholders, timelines involved, key assumptions, defining success criterias/ success factors, highlight risks involved, etc. Project Charter Sign-off from BE Core / Steering Committee

Program Management of Implementation Circulate MIS for relevant stakeholders to highlight progress of implementation. Highlight what is going well, what are challenges from time to time. Work with cross-functional teams for facilitating implementation. Timely circulation of MIS and pro-actively highlighting of roadblocks

Provide strategic leadership in driving Supply Chain excellence initiatives. Develop and implement strategies to enhance Supply Chain efficiency. Percentage improvement in Supply Chain efficiency.

Lead and oversee programs aimed at continuous improvement. Plan, execute, and monitor programs to meet organizational objectives. Successful completion of key program milestones.

Develop compelling business cases for Senior Management. Analyze data, assess needs, and present business cases for decision making. Acceptance rate of proposed business cases.

Ensure accurate and insightful data analysis. Utilize analytical tools to interpret complex data sets. Accuracy and timeliness of reports

Foster effective collaboration among Middle/Senior Level Leaders and departments. Coordinate initiatives that require cross-functional involvement. Improvement in crossfunctional collaboration metrics.

Identify root causes of Supply Chain challenges. Conduct thorough root cause analyses to address underlying issues. Reduction in recurrent issues after root cause analysis.

Foster a collaborative team environment. Work closely with internal teams to achieve Supply Chain goals. Improvement in team satisfaction and collaboration metrics

Contribute to the development of training programs. Design and implement training initiatives for team members. Improvement in team competency and skill development.
