Orbit & Skyline India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to manage spares planning, demand and procurement activities at our Mohali location. You will coordinate with global suppliers, interpret BOMs and technical specs, and optimize Fill Rate while maintaining cost controls.

The role requires strong Excel skills, SAP ERP experience, and familiarity with Power BI. You will interact with cross-functional teams across regions to ensure timely deliveries and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or MBA in SCM.
• 1–4 years in purchasing/procurement with global suppliers.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, specs.
• MS Excel expert; PowerPoint and Word proficiency.
• SAP ERP experience is mandatory (SAP HANA preferred).
• Familiarity with Power BI and supply chain processes like MRP.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Fill Rate targets and inventory/service commitments are met in the global Spares Plan.
• Monitor Fill Rate performance vs targets and inventory levels.
• Take action to address issues impacting performance.
• Program manage cross-functional actions affecting Fill Rate.

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or MBA in Supply Chain Management.
• 1-4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally working with global suppliers in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
• High proficiency in MS Excel; strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
• SAP ERP experience is mandatory (SAP HANA preferred).
• Familiarity with Power BI.
• Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Proven capability to manage purchasing transactions, negotiate pricing, and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across crossfunctional and geographically dispersed teams.

Wondering what your Responsibilities would be

• Ensure that established Fill Rate performance targets and inventory or service commitments are incorporated into the global Spares Plan.
• Monitor and report out Fill Rate performance v. Fill Rate Targets and Planned vs. Actual Inventory.
• Take action to address current and future issues impacting performance.
• Program Manage cross-functional actions that impact current and future Fill Rate performance.
• Excellent communication/presentation, organizational, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Candidate must be self-driven, independent, yet a strong team player.
• Ability to recognize process gaps and drive improvements holistically across cross functional teams
• Single point of contact for regional counterparts on the Spares Demand Planning team.
• Manage communications and messaging between regions and product planning counterparts.
• Drive Spares Delivery Performance across all products for regions by reviewing stocking levels, replenishments, field demand behavior.
• Translate regional/customer requests into a problem statement for review with Spares team.
