Job summary

Segula Technologies is seeking a seasoned professional in New Product Development Supplier Development within the automotive sector. The role requires managing supplier quality, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to QC processes.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with supplier development, PFMEA/PPAP, and quality tools, and are willing to work on site in Chennai. 3+ years’ relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Understanding QC tools, process capability tools and audits.
• Knowledge of RGPQP/e-NPQP, SPC and sampling techniques.
• Familiarity with PFMEA, PPAP, 8D, CP and PF.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: oversee milestones, timelines and department coordination.
• Risk Supplier Management: monitor supplier risks and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Training and Development: implement the training plan for team members.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Project Management

Ensure Project timelines are updated follow up.

RFNM (Design - RL1 & RL2, Process - adherence review and feedback)

Project phase wise micro activity plan preparation and monitoring & Status update (V3P4)

Validate the RGPQP Portal documents and assure 100% adherence

Participate in Gauge concept review as per I4I Rasic and feedback

Review Phase wise SMS and monitor the adherence & Feedback

Tooling follow up to establish Off-Tool at VC

Monitor Receiving Inspection for Applicable parts, Status update and NG Part handling. Follow up on concerns to prevent in the next build lot.

Line management AVES Concerns and Line issues

Review with supplier

2. Risk Supplier Management

Monitor supplier ranking monthly and identify the risk suppliers

Discuss with team for improvement defects and to eliminate quality issues.

3. Ensure compliance to Health, Safety and Environment standards as set by the organization and in line with statutory requirements

Ensure adherence to health and safety laws and standards as per regulatory requirements and as per Renault-Nissans corporate policies

Ensure adherence to environmental laws and norms as per regulatory requirements and as per Renault-Nissans corporate policies

4. Training and Development of Team Members

Adhere to the training plan decided by management & self
